- Induction cooktop element shorted last Thursday, only 3 years old :fum:
- Takes this long to find out, we're not insured for fusion, only surge or lightning.  :fum: :fum:
- $800 to replace 1 element. Italian made.
- $799 to buy another complete cooktop. Italian made
- All induction savings wiped out x 5 times.
- Time to change insurers.
:argh: Not happy.  :Pout: :Pout: :Pout: :Pout: :Pout:

No Aussie built cooktops?  :undecided:

They're not game to put any prices next to their products. I doubt, they could compete. Problem is, I have to make sure the next one fits in the existing hole, they do vary a bit.

Good find though, Rusty. I'll send a request & see what price comes back.

UPDATE

Only AU$2399.00 :whistler:

+ We went for a drive out to Gordon Dam today.  (Gordon Dam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
- No photos.
+ Family loved it, great scenery and great drive.
- Eldest boy felt queasy on the winding roads.
+ He didn't vomit.
- Wife sat in the back so my son could sit in the front to help him feel better.
+ It was nice and quiet in the front.
- Kittikat is going to be angry with me.
+ I was only joking Kittikat.

Great drive, Jamie. I agree.
We did it last year when we were down there and you refused to have coffee with me. :disapp: ;)
Winding roads = great fun. But yes, motion sickness is a danger. My daughter is the most succeptible so she stayed in the front whilst my wife and her sister sat in the back.
Ran over a pretty decent sized brown snake near the lake before the dam (oldtimers' disease. :-[)

Awesome country in there.

Did you abseil down the dam wall?

C'mon Trev, you know I am afraid of heights (and that wall is very high)!!  There were people abseiling down the wall when we got there, I got giddy watching them.

Hang on.
You're afraid of heights?
And you're a pilot.
 :happydance:

I didn't see anyone doing it, just read about it somewhere. Nuts I say. :scared:

I'm not really afraid of heights, I'm terrified of them!!
As I have said before, in an aircraft I am sitting down and strapped in, totally safe!!  Near a cliff edge or on a dam wall (where we took a lot of dam time, and had a dam walk, before the kids went to the dam toilet, couldn't get any dam bait though to go dam fishing) then I start shaking like a dog pooping razor blades.

I do understand.
Flying is no problem for me, even in a helicopter. I'm even comfortable in a chair lift and I've been on some doozies - Queenstown NZ, Grouse Mountain and Whistler, Canada spring to mind.
But make me look over the railing of a fourth floor balcony and my guts turn to water.
Oh, I conquered the glass floor in the CN Tower in Toronto, too. :goodjob2:

I'm not QUITE that bad. But my fear of heights has definitely seen me pull back from taking off on a few waves over the years.  :disapp:

Nah, didn't do that.   There were people down the bottom, and didn't want to hit them.  I'm also "tight" Rusty, as you know.  I wouldn't shout if a shark bit me!!   :whistler:

BTW, it is my shout for the next coffee, isn't it?
