Every time i start up my car the windscreen wiper gives me one wipe.
Annoying when your windscreen is dirty...i can see the scrap markes :head_butt:

My car does that when the wiper switch is set to the Auto position. If I switch it to the off position it does not wipe at start-up.

As indeed it does on my FD, much to my annoyance. I need some sort of klaxon to remind me to return the wiper switch to off, as I often experience the dreaded "scrape of doom" during its self test :(

It's a self test for the rain sensing wipers, check your manual. Only does it when the wipers are set to auto.
