If they is anyone that uses the shell helix 10/40 synthetic Technology oil in the Blue colored bottle (in Oz) Supercheap have it out on special at the moment, $16.90 5 ltrs
  • 2011 SLX CRDI 6 Spd, 2010 Holden Cruze CD Diesel and 2001 Hyundai Accent Coupe

Cheap as Chips..  :goodjob: Is that fully Synthetic? I think Dave and a few others use the Ultra version in the grey bottle...
  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)

Cheap as Chips..  :goodjob: Is that fully Synthetic? I think Dave and a few others use the Ultra version in the grey bottle...

I don;t think it is Dazz,I did also see the light grey bottles which stated clearly fully synthetic and that was horrendously expensive

I don;t think it is Dazz,I did also see the light grey bottles which stated clearly fully synthetic and that was horrendously expensive

Yeah the normal Helix should be ok for the petrol, but not the diesel i30...

Yes, I use the Shell Helix Ultra in the grey bottle.
Shell Helix Ultra Extra is not suitable for Hyundai diesels.

According to the labeling,suitable for all modern petrol and diesel engines also met the required ACEA spec's,I still won't be using it  :lol: I'll stick with my Penrite  :goodjob2:

Dave it is not Ultra it is HX7,just checked there web site it is listed under Semi Syn,but definitely suits diesels meets A3=B4 Spec,but still won't be using it  :rofl:
