Hi All,

As most know we are a Hyundai Specialist I figured we could share some info...

The Most common thing we see in servicing of Hyundai's is people ignore their Transmission fluid...
this is a big NO, NO with these cars as they tend to love crapping the transmission, if the fluid is looking black CHANGE IT...
fully synthetic is your best bet and should be checked every 30,000 KMS

Seems to be a bit of a foolish thing to do,hence the reason manufacturers give you detailed service intervals and guides to follow, have never understood why some people don't feel it applies to them, interesting info but thanks  :goodjob2:

Transmission oil should be checked every 15000km or the service provider isnt doing their job correctly.
As for full synthetic being the best..........I prefer good old SPIII/SPIV depending on which gearbox you have. Especially if still under warranty.
