Anyone have anything to say regarding Ryco  cabin / Pollen filters.

Collecting stuff for the big 90,000 km service in my FD 2011 CRDI.

Ebay does not have much in the way of genuine cabin filters.

Ryco sounds reputable and comes up with 2 varieties.

Standard:

Premium with Microshield to protect against fine particulates, mould, mites and influenza.

Premium is only a few $ more. What would people recommend?

I buy "premium" filters with active carbon. Not sure if it makes any difference or am I just a victim of advertisement. But for me those seem quite expensive. I usually get filter with ~15€. Isn't that something like 25-30 "local" dollars. Thou my cabin filters have probably been cheap chinese ones.

Ryco are alright to buy if Supercheap have a special on, Wesfil is the  brand I purchased :link: Wesfil Cabin Air Pollen Filter WACF0158 fits Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDi (GD)

It's made out of the same material as the others, just a different colour.

Active carbon filters are an absolute scam, the carbon itself has probably lost its ability to absorb odour's by the time you've purchased it :head_knock:

Just realised you have an FD  :) :link: Wesfil Cabin Air Pollen Filter WACF0116 fits Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDi (FD),2.0 (FD) | eBay
