What Car magazine (I use the web of course) have voted the I30 car of the year 2010.....

That makes me feel real good about my shiny machine

I already felt good about it but it's nice to be proven correct.

I had a look at http://www.whatcar.com/car-news/what-car-car-of-the-year-awards-2010/introduction/246329
and tried hard to make an i30 come out as the COTY but could not. At best it got best cheapest small family car subcategory.

COTY went to Peugeot 3008.

Did I miss something?

It is an English magazine Steve... They also do What TV & Video etc.. I think..

Mate, just about every mag in the world awards a "Car of the Year". Even the NRMA/RACQ etc mags do it.
These days some of them have about as much cred as the American "World Series" in baseball.
Having said that, IMO, Wheels COTY is the cream of the crop.

I get the impression it is a new car buyers guide.. We have a Magazine called which car that I haven't seen for a while that may be a take off of it..

I took my own license on that but in this day where everything is abbreviated and misspelled I am surprised to be pulled up on it.

Maybe we could start a thread on the difference between its and it's, there their and they're, your you're and yaw. Ok, I through threw in the yaw although it will come up one day when we discuss ESP perhaps.
