Hey, people, I have the dreaded ESP light on after replacing bushing all went well with the replacement, but I am guessing I need it cleared and recentered , I am in Redbank plains Ipswich just wondering if anyone is aware of anyone close to get this done I am not going anywhere near the bloody dealers.

Obviously the steering coupler.

Now, I just can't remember who I use :whistler: he's cheap :needspecscleaning:

I assume you've  started the car, turned the turned the steering lock to lock , turned off and then back on and the error is still there?

Yep tried the Lock to Lock just now and the light is still on, steering is fine though.

It was fine yesterday and the day before (done it Saturday) it only came on when the wife was driving home :-( tonight.

Big Thanks to tw2005 for sorting that out for me, home with a clean Dash, will drop back in a week for an update.
TW is probably better at explaining what he reset lol

Next on the cards is a change on the tranny fluid.

Essentially cleared  all the  steering codes, then performed the ASP (absolute steering positon) calibration procedure. Fingers crossed it stays clear. It should unless there is another underlying fault in the column.

also the vehicle had the common brake switch fault under recall which will fault and turn off the ESP .

Nice meeting :goodjob2:
