Title: cv boot torn
Post by: me217 on January 02, 2016, 01:56:54: has anyone had any issues with their cv boots. the cv seems fine but the boot has torn right round and let grease fly everywhere.

my question is

boot or cv.

repco wants like $350 for the cv and doesnt list the boot.

my usual local parts store is closed till monday

If you don't get any knocking when acc and/or turning then just the boot should do the job... :mrgreen:

Post by: cruiserfied on January 02, 2016, 08:14:16: Agree the joint is likely fine and only a boot will be required. But a thorough inspection of the joint would be advised.
