Hi piglet :) welcome back mate.

Dunno about the warranty thing but that price looks decent enough. I wouldn't swap over as it's too much trouble keeping it clean and oiled up.

Anyway, hope you had a nice Xmas Nick :)

Think I'll just get the standard filter replacement and then chiptune the car ...

I also want a strutbar (-brace) but where should I get it? There is one from Sharkracing and one from Kspec. All under 100$, Can I trust them?

Did you get it?

Open air filters for a diesel are not so good, since it takes a lot of hot air in the air-intake,which will decrease performance. The sound should be ok. Can some one verify this on a diesel engine?Sound? Performance?

I'm thinking to add one,but I don't want an engine that sucks up the filter again ^^

That was the plan yes..But with all the louzy prices & crisis over here, its just not worth it to lose lots of money to sell it now.The car can be sold, but doesn't have to be sold... so its on 'hold' (unless you want to make an offer that I can't resist :d)

I did no get it because it doesn't changes the performance of the car so much due to the ECU.
Maybe you can cuz you chipped yours.

Currently I have the standard K&N airfilter :)
And about the heating problem ... I already asked this (see bottom): https://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,2030.0.html
