Title: Updated i30 confirmed for Australia

The changes look pretty subtle you have to flick past quite a few exterior shots to get to the interior ones. Appears the infotainment screen has become more shallow.

Hopefully they have upgraded the software AND hardware of the infotainment.
With today's quad and hexa core embeeded CPUs costing pennies it's a real shame Hyundai put a single core, slow CPU to manage the infotainment.
When using the infotainment in 2019 models I experienced sluggish operation, software that looks like it was designed in early 2000s

Very subtle changes from what I can make out, body lines almost appear the same so we'll just have to wait until the wraps are off for a good look.

That's an interesting comment. The Korean built i30 and other models of Hyundai sold in Australia get good reviews for the useabilty and performance of their infotainment systems.  I was happy with the one in my 2017 i30 SR and in my wife's 2019 Kona. Both far superior to what Toyota has in the 2019 Toyota Camry and Corolla.

Thanks @JH1

Here's another link... Sounds like this was written by Hyundai not a motoring journalist...

This update is I suspect for vehicle built at the Czech factory for European sale. No keen on the twin exhausts on one side rather than the current N-line and previous SR symetrical split.

Be interesting to see if any new engine options are offered on the Korean built Australian and NZ delivered cars...

Oh my. I love those headlights and grill. I wonder if it could be a straight swap with a 2018 model.

It's possible but extremely unlikely to be cost effective. Be huge cost to source new bumper + Grill + lights... Be almost cheaper to trade up.

Looks great. Nice to see a facelift that doesn't look worse than the previous model!
