I'm thinking about having one of the Hollandia sunroofs installed, same model I had in the Clubsport and much better that the factory Hyundai sunroof as it slides back inside the roof.

It's the same model that all HSV's use and would look very nice I think, It's probably the same model as what Dazz has on the Calais I suspect :undecided:

Looks the same. I mainly use mine on tilt around town to get a bit more air flowing on warm days..  :goodjob:

Yeah I thought yours would be the same Dazz, Hollandia's are what most of the dealer centres use and are exclusive installers for Holden/HSV - BMW - Mercedes - Masserati and many more.

The 700 series is what I'm looking at, 900 series is no longer available but I wouldn't get that one anyway as I don't like the split sunroof and I suspect it was pulled due to sealing issues, the 300 is the cheaper version but doesn't retract back into the roof lining ( more suitable for utes )

Looks like the one I had on my Subaru Liberty a few years ago.
Worked a treat.

Craig, I had the 700 series Hollandia from prestige on my FD, if you check the FD gallery.
Nice sunroof.
They used to have a rain sensor too but I believe they don't do that anymore.
Prestige sunroofs also extended the warranty to five years to match the new car at the time.

I think they still do the rain sensor Dave as it's mentioned as an optional extra on their website but it's a waste of money imo.

I loved the 700 that I had on the Clubsport and think it will look really nice on my 3dr, adds an extra touch of sportiness to the look and it's much quieter to have the roof open for air than the windows.

I really liked the rain sensor on mine.
It meant that on warm or hot days I could securely lock my car but leave the roof cracked open a little to expel the hot air that built up inside, knowing that if it started to rain it would close automatically and not drench the car's interior.
When I inquired about fitting a sunroof to my GD, I was told the rain sensor was no longer available (late 2012).
They must have re-introduced it.  :goodjob:

I can see the benefit you mention... don't think I would need that option though as I have the weather shields so can leave the windows down a touch when parked on hot days and it's not visible.
