TV on in background - 24hour 'news' channel. And no I can't be bothered looking for references.
One news item was something about how a number of companies are planning, or are soon going to be releasing, 'sex robots' that can substitute for humans - i.e. sophisticated robotic equivalents of blow-up dolls.
And that there is an action group against 'sex robots' - there were a couple of sound bites from someone - apparently they are against it because the 'sex robots' could be produced/designed to be (or modeled after) children and further objectify women.
I find the implication that men wouldn't/couldn't also be objectified, and/or further objectified, by such robots - both amusing and annoying at the same time.
