I wrote a topic 3 months ago about my GP star Sat Nav that had stopped working and the dealer has been unable to replace it. I have at last after 3 months and weekly phone calls to the service manager persuaded them  to reimburse me.   They have reinstated the dash back to its original state and paid me 65% of the original cost. Not a very satisfactory solution but after 3 months I thought it was time to draw a line under the whole affair. I am not sure were the fault was with Hyundai main office or the dealer.
Perhaps there is a lesson to be learnt here both the sat nav and the cruise control (which now works perfectly) were installed by the dealer after purchase and both have been faulty. So far I have not had any other problems after 18,000 kms and 18 months and I am very pleased with my i30.

A very sad tale Mike....  hope you find something else *that works*.

As you say, time to draw a line and move on <sigh>

Not a great result Mike but we've all been there with some gadget or another...(I wonder what the GPS in the i45 is like )
