Just wondering if anyone has tried to make there own Ipod cable. If not does anyone know where I could get a schematic or cable diagram?

I noticed the only special thing about the Hypod cable is that it has an auxiliary AND USB attachment on the same cable. You think you could fool the stereo into thinking you have a hypod cable, if you attached the standard iPod cable, and male-male headphone jack? I thought of this after I bought my hypod cable...

Just a thought. Hadn't tried it!
