Hi All,

Yes this will sound strange to some but not others!!!

I currently have a 2010 i30 Estate Crdi Style in Red bought this one in March 2010 and have done 31,000mls in it, it's had two services and is a perfect car for me with 2 kids and a dog oh and a wife.

So the wifes Vauxhall Astra packed up and so decided to look for another car and yep found a late December 2011 i30 Estate Crdi comfort in white with just 2,400mls on the clock, it's arriving today pictures later  :happydance:

i30sean or should that be 2 i30sean LOL

Now I have seen the photos (thanks for those) I am quite jealous.. (our CW is only a 2.0 petrol and we didn't get the facelift in 2010/11)  :Pout:

Well had the car a couple of days and thought I should let you know of any differences between the two so the new white one:

The glow plug light goes out in a milli second.

The car feels very smooth to drive and is much quieter then the red one. (Red one on 31,000mls)

Road noise it's very quiet (I have P7's on the other one think I will swap back to the Hankooks next time).

It has a gear change indicator!!!

MPG appear the same

Cosmetic's The White is a comfort the Red is a style

lights need to be turned on (red one have different switch that makes them auto)

Their isn't a central compartment with a top on just a hole to put stuff in.

No rear plug socket

Spare wheel is space saver

No silver trim round the bumpers

Seats all cloth no leather (I like these better then the half leather that is looking a bit worn on the Red one).

But I do like the new gear stick it's more ergonomic to hold

The air con if we ever need it in the UK is colder

The electric windows are really quick like fast ( my two girls really noticed this the first time they said WOW these are quick)

The door opening handles inside are back not chrome like the red one

If i think of anything else will add

Very pleased with the new car going on it's first long journey today  :happydance:

Cheers i30Sean

PS Just looking at the car the side skirts are lovely and the front more box like which I do like  :D

PPS The brakes on the new one are very sharp !!!

Well had the (white) 2nd one 7-8 weeks now and the only things to report is;

The gear indicator for sure gives you the choice to change gear at optimal times and if followed a def increase in MPG even my wife noticed this, we can easily manage 55mpg compered to the red one where it sits around 49mpg.

Oh and the white one looks dirty alot of the time
