Hi All!

I can see this is a great community, so I thought I should introduce myself, and let you all know a little about me. 

So firstly, I just bought an I30 Premium, what an awesome little piece of gear that is! Everything that clicks or whirrs is in this thing! I just love the sky roof.  I looked at every other brand in its class, and value for money it wins hands down. THE END. The Koreans have really excelled themselves this time, and the Kia merger has really lifted the game to a different playing level!

So I am a 47 year old guy that resides in Melbourne (after a lovely childhood in Tassie ). I have worked and been trained around the world as a software developer and engineer in the manufacturing industries including automotive robotics.  One of my most recent projects was developing and commissioning the robotic controls for Nissan in Dandenong Victoria in their Engine Block Plant.

I like social outings of any kind, motorbike riding (have a Suziki GSXR1000, and Scuba Diving.

So thats about it really~ Thank you all for being so welcome into this community, and I hope some great friendships can be made along the way!

Yes, a great community here with some lovely members (gee that sounds almost rude) 

I have been fortunate enough to have met members in every State and Territory except S.A. (so far) so hopefully we may meet some time..

Yes Daz I do get back frequently.  All my family lives in the Kentish Municipality.  Hoping to get back this Christmas....see how that goes...I am the loner, and the only child that has not moved back to Tas..

Both my older brothers left Tassie for the big smoke when they got to around 17 y/o. One of them settled in Kingscliff after working and living in Sydney for most of his life (He is 66 now)

My other brother unfortunately passed away in May this year as the result of a scooter accident (not his fault) he was 62 y/o  He lived in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney + Monaco and Nice (in Europe) at different times in his life...
