G'day all my name is Dan aka Papa Cin,
2 weeks ago I arrogantly walked in to my local Hyundai dealer to rule out the i30 and collect some negotiation bait for Ford. Little did I that I would get into the i30 find that I loved the shit out of it. We the ActiveX diesel as my wife drives the hume highway everyday and we thought that it would be a good match for that type of 110km+ driving.

I was just standing at the local shops and flat perving on the car. It has such a tough stance. Why anyone would buy an other car is beyond me. I think it's love guys.

I'm a stay at home dad so I will be kicking around this forum a fair. Looking forward to saying gday to you all.

Gday, Dan. You've certainly come to the right place. Enjoy the kid(s) while young. They grow up real fast and will soon be asking for the keys to your beloved.

:welcumwagon: Papa-Cin I was the dead opposite to you I love the I30 from when they bought them out and I really wanted to get a ford Focus or Mondeo(at the time)as they had like I said at the time far better stats.

But yes I had to go with my first choices,we in fact bought two of the diesel I30's in 2011,sadly one of them is dead now,no fault of the cars,I do a lot of K's a week the I30's are as cheap as chips to run(after a period of time for the diesels)did you get a manual or Auto, auto's are a bit heavier on fuel consumption.

I doubt you will regret the purchase you have made, they are a great car,you said you have been sniffing around the list for some time,so happy travelling(was going to say something else but thought better of it)

G'day mate and welcome.

Were different, because after years of driving Fords, I would never step into one of their dealerships again  :D

My garage was a 2 Ford affair, there have been 2 Hyundais there since 2012 and it is not likley to change any time soon.

As a stay at home day you have my respect, sometimes I can't wait to escape to work  :whistler:
