Title: Bush Fires
Post by: John B on August 20, 2017, 11:04:20
@ Surferdude,  Wondered how you are getting on with those bush fires ? I hope it has not effected you too much. Sunshine Coast has copped a fair bit lately.

I was a bit worried about Trevor because my Daughter's Mother and Father in law in Caloundra had to evacuate for a short period and Ashley was on standby too, but he was all good last I heard.  :victory:

Son-in-law has Sarcoidosis (a lung disease) so the smoke has been knocking him around a bit!

BTW @John B  you need to get rid of any spaces when you tag someone like this @Surferdude (you will know if it works because it will create a popup which you click to select..)

@John B   ( did you see what I did there?)
All good. We're well clear of where the fires were.
But Claire is asthmatic so we were pleased the winds blew the smoke well away from us.

Also, how did you like my use of "we're", " where" and "were" in the one sentence?

Impressive, pity you couldn't have squeezed in a wear though...  :snigger:

@Dazzler Thankyou for the tip about the spaces I wondered why it was not working. Glad your relations are ok.  @Surferdude I was a bit concerned knowing the bush fire hit Caloundra, was a good job the smoke went the other way from you. I reckon a lot of people with breathing problems would have had a bad time . All this play on words that is going on is doing my head in.
