Hi all. I have an i30 1.4 with the automatic gearbox. I’m surprised at how badly the clutch slips. In particular whilst attempting to reverse into a parking space uphill the car rolls forward (unusual for an auto). It’s so bad that I can smell the clutches burning as I have to apply more revs to get it to move backwards. Pretty dangerous really. Does anyone else have this problem. I still have warranty so will take it in but wanted some advice first. Many thanks.

needs the dealer to look at it but clutch is one of those border line things for the warranty (but to be fair I had a new one under warranty on my manual at 4 years and 11 months old when they found the springs had broken)
