Hey guys I want to jack up my Hyundai i30 2011 Hatchback from the front, were the front two wheels will be lifted at the same time. Of course I will use a jack trolley, but where is the best place to jack it from and where is the best place to put the jacks? I read the manual but it only talks about the jack points for changing a tyre and not working under the car.
Many thanks in advance

I've always raised it one wheel at a time with the jack and then used jack stands near those same points, such as the year I had it in storage with all 4 wheels off the floor. :goodjob:

I use these, front i've not got a decent one to lift both sides.

MOT tech said it was best to lift on the arm right under the springs when I asked, they got a lift one could only dream of though.

I'm with Gonz. Looking underneath , right in the front centre there should be a tow hook. I use a piece of hard wood to give a little extra height and to spread the laoad also so it does not get marked,

Never had a problem doing this. If your just working around the wheel well Ive used just the k=jack and slide the wheels under just in case.

But do not get under a vehicle unless it's on solid jack stands. Enough people have died due to sudden hydraulic failure with cheap jacks.

We had one just a few weeks ago, jack failed whilst under it,  :rip:
