Immobiliser Replaced

Dealer replaced the immobiliser today, because previous re-programming, and replacement of rear tail lift lock failed to rectify the occaisional starting problem.

  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)

Someone else (I forget who sorry) had the coil on their immobiliser replaced in the last few days.

Must have been a recall, they actually asked me, I said it sometimes failed to start, but it did not bother me, as it always started eventually.
Yes, I know, and they were really insistent....
Shortly after I took delivery, I had a New Vehicle Questionaire sent me, every answer I gave was "excellent", strangely the very last one on the final page (which I had to turn), asked "Has the vehicle ever failed to start"? Yes or No.
I answered: No
What was that all about :rolleyes:

That would probably be me. Suspension, esp and now crumbling key also resolved or due to be fixed under warranty...
