Pretty sure you can get just the skins and/or a whole new empty fob cheap on EBay, I'll try and find some links..

I think the cases just prise open with w knife or screwdriver. Just be ware if you swap the whole case there is a chip sort of hidden in the original case you need to switch for the immobilizer.

I was a bit concerned about attacking it with a knife.... oh well, give it a go and see what happens.
I did get the skins on Ebay.... 2 for $9.
