Title: Lost acceleration for a second. TPS?
Post by: Hi30turbs on March 24, 2024, 07:54:42
2011 Diesel. Gday. Yesterday I went to accelerate of the lights and had nothing for a second. Happened again bit later that day. It does have a bit of a delay when putting foot down. Like there’s half and inch of pedal before it starts to move. Could this be the TPS? Thanks

Maybe, but I'd be looking at the quality of the Diesel first.

Oh ok. I’d actually filled it with Premium Diesel. I did notice it’s using around 5.6 ltr to 100. Normal Diesel I’d been using was around 6. Is the pedal delay fairly normal? Haven’t had car long and it’s been the same way, maybe little bit worse the last week. I did disconnect negative battery terminal for 5 mins. I’d read it resets  the TPS? Thanks mate.

Also I did feel a slight vibration when sitting at the lights which I hadn’t noticed before.
