Title: i30 Estate Boot closes on its own
Post by: Shibby on February 22, 2019, 10:23:47
Hi there, the wife has an i30 estate, however when we open the boot, it gets to the top (fully open) then decides to close itself. It happens 75% of the time. If you stop it with your hand it stays where it is, however you then cannot use the button to close it, so manually close it and it makes a nasty creaky sound.

Its whacked me on the back of the head one too many times for me to not get the ******* thing mended!

Help. Many Thanks

get new struts. They are less effective when cold.
