I have a 1.6 CRDi registered on 01 September 2007. Must be one of the oldest in UK (?) At a recent service I was told that the turbo inlet breather pipe needed to be replaced as it had collapsed. The car has only done 36K miles and the part (Hyundai price) costs £67.51!

I have not been able to source an alternative supplier.

Anyone had this problem?
The Hyundai part number is 26710 2A101.
Anyone know of an alternative supplier?

Here's hoping.

A quick googling for "267102A101" show you won't beat that price by much. A lot of Russian sites are selling that part as "Crankcase Vent Hose".

Thanks for that. Never occurred to google the part number! I had just put the description in.

I see that KORAPS have the part for next to nothing but I have yet to establish the shipping cost which might be a crippler.

It will be as they only went on sale 1 sept 2007.

I know there were a few august regs, 07 plates, as they were registered by dealers as demo's for the launch date.
Seen in auto papers and net for sale in oct/nov,

My 1st was 19 sept 2007 and originally a demo but never registered until the day before i picked it up.

I test drove on trade plates and as i was buying it the dealer agreed to delay registration.

Re pipe. Not happened on my 1st yet. i know this as my son has the car now.

Yeah I saw that but couldn't see a way of adding to the 'basket' without being a member, to see the final shipped cost

I do have an account at KORAPS but I can't seem to find the order botton.  :disapp:

I did buy some other parts from them 3 month ago. It took 3-4 weeks for the parts to arrive. For one part it will be about 5 $ for shipping if you choose the cheapest delivery method.

The parts I ordered came in Hy boxes, so I do believe it's genuine parts.

Edit: Just tried another part, then no problem, get a buy it now. botton and it moves to the cart.
Could be because it's not on stock. You can put it on a wishlist...

Thanks folks. Given Asterix' experience, I will give KORAPS a try.

Just a quick PS to previous posts. I ordered the part from Koraps, it arrived 3.5 weeks later and cost a total of £13 including postage. I fitted it myself in 15 minutes. Hyundai wanted £97.61 to supply and fit!

Thanks to Asterix for the recommendation, I can certainly add mine too. Only problem would be if your car is laid up waiting for the part. I used the cheapest delivery option.

Glad to hear you got it fixed.  :goodjob2:

I got 3 parts from Koraps:

1 ABS sensor for right front Wheel
1 washer pump assm.
1 washer blade for rear.

..for a total of ca 84 Euro, shipping included.

My local Hyundai dealer wanted ca 300 Euro for the same parts.... :faint:
