Title: Headlights on warninng

New owner of a 2010 I30 FD 1.6 deisel
Turned off the engine the other day and pulled the key out, opened the door and there was no warning I'd left the headlights on.
Is this normal? I thought in this day and age all cars had that.

Hi.

I have a 2017 Ioniq SE Premium, and it doesn't warn me if lights are left on.

That said, our CH-R puts a yellow triangle on the dash.

Even my 2002 L200 has a buzzer!
