I like this phrase:

Exit phase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Come on. 
Why don't they speak in "Plain English" and just say - it's finished as there is no more cash in the kitty and we've subed the foreign car market.

Is this so manufacturers can hike up the list price under the guise that it's been brought on by the Government withdrawing their £1,000.00 handout.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can get a better dealer AFTER the scheme finishes as dealers will have more margin to play with.
