i want to replace my i30 gear knob but cant see an abvious way to remove it. can anyone give me advice please?

Has anyone replaced/removed a manual gearknob yet? I can't recall it being done on the forum...

the gear knob screws off anti clock wise. its that easy.  :winker:
  • 2009 manual sx hatch and 2009 automatic sx cw. both 2.0 petrol.

Newer models have a vauxhall type knob though, so not sure myself how that comes off,
maybe if you pull your knob hard enough it will come off ask the dealer
