Over the last few days I noticed the price per litre of unleaded has increased and diesel has remained static.
The result is unleaded is NOW dearer than diesel where I live.
Unleaded = 101.9 ppl
Diesel = 100.9 ppl
Hooray at last I'm paying less per litre than a petrolhead.
I see in the press that this is down to spectators pushing up crude even thought there is a glut!!!!!

Hooray at last I'm paying less per litre than a petrolhead.
Feels good doesn't it? Been like this in Oz for a long time now. First started paying $1.60 litre 7 months ago, now about $1.15.
And so it should be, less refining required should translate to cheaper price.

For several months Diesel and Petrol were about the same price here in Devonport Tasmania..
In the last month Diesel has become up to 6 cents cheaper than Petrol (e.g. 120.9 diesel, 126.9 Petrol .. less 4 cents for shopper docket...)
Still quite a bit dearer than some parts of OZ :'(
