I filled up my car when I got it.

I have done 260 miles since.....

The fuel gauge is still reading 3/4 full....

260 x 4 = 1040 !!!

I don't think it will work out like that !!

Nice one, and keep on believing brother

I have just under 32K miles on the clock and can reach around 750 miles before lil old yellow man comes on, and that's from a brim-to-brim fill (63.5 mpg)

I guess she would start coughing at around 780 miles.

KEEP THE FAITH OB1 (sorry, I mean, andys101)

If I could drive everywhere at 56mph then I'd be looking for more than I currently get. Sadly, at that speed I would tend to annoy most other motorway users

So true Steve, here in Australia we drive the slowest of just about any other country. sometimes it's hard to work out why. the law's and fine's penalty's and so on contribute. Northern Territory have a 130kph limit this state New South Wales has a 110kph limit, some states only allow 100kph and they only allow 3% over for speedo error.
that's how it is.
But were i like to drive once every few weeks, there is no speed limit :)
cheers

Go on. Try and get 1000 miles without filling up.

Drive until the low fuel light comes on and let us know the miles covered.

Then see how further you can go before you bottle out and fill up.
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

most of Victoria's housing estates have 40 and 50 kmh speed limits.
