Hi All,

After about 20 cars of other manufacturers finally bought an i30 fastback 1.4 TGDI 7DSG. Still own an Outback just in case for the wintertime  :)
Immediately after the purchase had a road trip to the other side of Europe (Croatia), around 4000 km in total and was really impressed. The handling is great, especially enjoyed on windy Autobahns of Austria. Fuel consumption is good too, didn't expect 7 l/100 km at average speeds of 160 km/h (that was in Poland). What I was surprised about was that during the whole trip I only saw 2 Fastbacks and as expected both in Czechia where they are manufactured. I believe this body shape is slightly underrated.
Cheers

Welcome. The fastback shape looks better in the flesh than in photos.  We only get the fastback shape in N spec in Australia.  The larger boot is a bonus.  If I bought an N I would opt for the fastback.

Great to hear your positive feedback.  :victory:
