Hi everybody,

My name is Thomas and I live in Copenhagen. Three weeks ago I received my brand new phantom black i30 1.6 CRDi Diesel 110PS Blue Drive - 6 Speed Manual Transmission and ISG. Until now I have driven more or less 1600 km, and so far I am very satisfied.

I switched from an ix20 1.4 CRDi, mainly because of the rather weak engine performance, and prior to that I had an i10.

The engine in my new i30 performs nicely, and the quality and look and feel of the interior materials is quite high.

I drive the car whenever I have a chance, and I look forward to telling you more about my experiences:) Thanks for a great site by the way!

Regards,
Thomas

Well, the i40 would be the logical successor - however, I'm very satisfied with my i30. And it has more or less the maximum length suitable for tight parallel parkings in downtown Copenhagen where I live :)

Welcome weatherman, looks like your next car will be an i40

Thank you all for the very warm welcome here on this wonderful forum. Yesterday I snapped two photos of my new i30 when the sun peeped down between the clouds. (By the way, the summer here in Denmark is more or less absent, 13-18 degrees C...)

/Thomas

Looks excellent Thomas (glad you like the forum) :happydance: Will you be dressing her up with some alloy wheels eventually?

Yes, as a matter of fact I have just ordered some 17 inch alloy wheels... and then I'll put winter tires on the steel rims.

Looks excellent Thomas (glad you like the forum) :happydance: Will you be dressing her up with some alloy wheels eventually?
