So......... Today I signed a contract on a MY14 GD i30SR Hyper Silver, auto, with sunroof. Do you think I'm excited....S**t yeah !!!!!
I've been following this forum for over a year now gauging feedback from owners. My original choice was a Veloster but it didn't suit my 6'1'' frame. Next option was a i30 Premium CRDI but because a lot of journeys are very short (less than 3km) this was not a good option.
THEN CAME THE SR....Nice!!!!! I had already test driven the car at another dealer where I had been visiting for over 15 months, but his first offer contained no enticements.....(really dumb as he knows I was a certain buyer)....Next dealer.
Long and short they came good with everything I wanted ( fancy footwell lights, window tint ,paint+ protection package), albeit at a bit more than I originally wanted to spend, but really I was dreaming!! So .....Waiting for stock to arrive 1-1.5 weeks then goodbye old car, hello i30.
