Hey there,

My name's Mark and I'm 23 years old. Married and all that jazz.

I've just ordered an SX 2.0L auto hatch in black yesterday 8)

Coming with:
18" PDW black alloys
Spoiler
2" exhaust system
Pedders springs
Tinting

All for $24,000 neat. Already copping flack from my old man "why do you need all those extras" haha (he still drives around in an old Daihatsu Applause).

Gonna take about 6 weeks to get it so I'll be posting up some pics then.

Interesting mods list.
Is the dealer doing all that.
Just wondered about the exhaust and springs and their effect on warranty issues.
Also, a word of caution. Make sure when you get it that the tyres meet the ADR's as far as Load Index is concerned.

Dealer is doing it all, a close friend works there (I know he's still a car salesman).

Won't affect the warranty according to them.

Wheels/tyres from bob jane's, they've got this wheel specifically for i30's and mazda 3's because of the size and it won't rub or anything like that. They're actually 18" I've made a typo. I'll make sure I get the correct tyres.

*Exhaust won't void warranty and the springs will have their own lifetime warranty

Hah sweet, my only concern now is insurance. I've run a few quotes off and ones where I've ticked "vehicle has been modified" they've said they will not insure me... so I will have to keep hunting.

Well it was between the Focus and i30 and I found the standard features in the base model i30 was more generous than the Focus. It was also just the little things... I found the interior to be nicer, having the windscreen wipers/indicators not backwards like the Focus etc... oh and the i30 just looks cooler 8)

But most importantly the missus preferred the i30
