On 2011 fd once you take out the 3/4 screws that run down once the boot is opened does it take a little force to remove unit from bodywork. I take it there may be a couple of lugs holding it in place.
Thanks.

Mines be on and off like a brides nighty....
Yes it does take a judicious little bit of levering to get it off. :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

Can't remember whether there are two or three retainer lugs.
As Asa says, a bit of yanking may be needed.

Thanks for the replies. Waiting for a fine day to try removal so if a new builb sorry "globe" is needed I know how it's done. This is just a dry run. :whistler:

"bulb" is good.
"globe" is antipodean, and just plain wrong

Hi, a loop made with a cable tie, makes it a little easier. Just hook it over the top of the light. The top clip on mine gripped more and made the pointy part of the light susceptible to breaking, by pushing into the metal bodywork.

Removed the screws used cable tie loop to ease away job done. Thanks. :goodjob2:
