The weather in Batemans Bay, balmy 22C. But in Tumut Thursday night on way back from Victoria. Coming over the Snowy Mountains Hwy between Tumut and Cooma, at 1400 metres above sea level , snow on roadside, 0 degrees C on i30 temp readout. Now do the i30 temp readouts display under 0 ?

Yes, common occurrence in Europe, look for the - in front of the numbers and an icicle.

Sounds as good a reason as any to go up there again it is beautiful. I was somewhere near Jindabyne many years ago, looking in a pool of wate,r there was alluvial gold at the bottom saw it with my polaroid glasses. The water was crusted with ice, no tools, no containers, had to leave it there, but I'm going back by hook or by crook.

I pulled my P out today and drove in convoy with several other P76 owners up to Yanchep National Park, where I hadn't been for years.
It was a good day and I don't know what temp it got to but it felt a lot hotter than the amended forecast of 29.
Maybe it was just driving without aircon.

I was in England, end of April and May this year it was cold enough there, think I will leave Russia and its MINUS 25C alone at this stage mate, thanks for the invite. I have been to some parts of Eastern Europe, Warsaw, Krakow, Budapest, Prague etc, but it was nice in June and those coaches are warm, although it was cold in the salt mines near Krakow.

The UK has suffered some of the most severe storms in years over the last couple of days, one of the more amazing phenomena occurring in Aberdeen city where sand and sea water were whipped up by the 60-80mph winds into a foam which engulfed the area like snow!

Geez. The last time we were in Batemans Bay (April) we were on our way to Merimbula where we were when that massive storm hit with the 120+ kph winds. Staying on the headland in the cabins.

Batemans Bay today was 34C. Bloody hot playing golf at my club: www.catalinacountryclub.com.au Then after a couple of lemonades at the 19th hole, got into the motor and the temp display on the i30 said 38C. Whacked on the A/C it was struggling, not happy Jan. I think I might have to make the 140km trek down to Bega Hyundai to get the A/C sorted, it is not super cold as I like it and summer is coming brothers and sisters.

Anyone else had ordinary air conditioning performance from the 2011 i30's?

PS Cooler tommorow a SE change, only 24C. Nice.
