I've been following this thread with lots of interest as "....nothing off topic" as it is all "...on topic" to the one who posts it.
:offtopic:

I think you should.
After all, a certain senior member was willing to post a pic of himself in a nurse's uniform at one point, if I recall correctly.
I can't say who it is of course, because anonymity is paramount and we respect peoples' privacy, but are you going to be beaten by a retired British engineer?

I think I have a problem with my car - the tyre valve has been fitted in a different position on each wheel. I didn't notice it when I collected the car last March - what chance a warranty claim to get all tyre valves at the top of the wheel (like the front nearside one - trust the wife's side to be in the right).

Another thing  - I contacted my supplier of snow leopard powder to see whether he sold Elephant Powder - but he has run out of stock. He suggested that I try Rhino Spray to see whether that would work in its place.  He must think I'm barmy for fall for that one.

Alan,

I think having the valves in different positions is best as it confuses the little so and so’s who go round sticking match sticks under the dust cap.

Thought I would bring this one here,as this is what this thread was started for to bring O/T stuff in thread specific threads,so they could get back on topic.

anyhoo back to this one,Gonz yes I can remember years ago, especially when I was in the Army,I thought nothing of keeping in shape, eating healthy(well as healthy as you could eat once the fitters and turners in the mess hall got through with the tucker) even once I had left the forces,I used to prige myself one staying fit.
But a little over ten years ago,I was made redundant from a job I loved and had done for 18.5 years, for a while there I simply gave up,after that thought I thought I was on the right track,I just simply started to let myself go,though thinking everything was going well, the last eight nine months has proved other wise, time to knock myself back into shape.

Cars, but in line with the title, you may immediately drift to sex, without fear of one of these  :backontopic:.

The first 28 years of my career I never knew what a gym was and dreaded passing the sit-ups each year. The arm-hang was somehow a breeze but the run or walk was an unpleasant annual ordeal. Those sit-ups were always borderline, though.

Then 7 months in the centre of the world's largest conflict and at Mount Kosciuszko's altitude was a chance to change, thanks also to a fitness-conscious colleague. I was determined to cut fat and build muscle and used impressing my wife as inspiration.

Two years since the start of that regime (the fitness, not the country ) I'm still at it and I've taken to the Army-style annual Physical Fitness Test, achieving 18yo and specialist category in all aspects of the test.

The inspiration now is being a role model to my workmates and cadets (my family are already doing great).

Anyway, if I can do this at the 30 year mark of my career, I'm sure you can now. I have a great home-made yoghurt recipe for you, too.  :D
