Well if they operate the same payment policy as over here in the UK, you can forget using your credit card to buy stuff from them.

Cash or debit cards only. How modern

Dazz did not know Aussies refer to Walmart as we don't have them here, but in the states they could not live without Walmart & i think they think they are world wide. just never seen one here . just shows how americanized the place is becoming. i like the real Australia better.

Some $2 (discount shops) have them and Kmart maybe (they are quite a bit bulkier than the built in ones)

If you don't find any I think I have one floating around I could post to you  :goodjob:

Our new local Mitre 10 has some deluxe led caps at the moment for around $20.

The oiks who wear baseball caps will be illuminating where they have come from - not where they are heading. The LED should be on the back.

Nope

I have a couple of those clip on LED lights for caps but they are not very subtle so I don't use them.. The ones in the caps at K & D Mitre 10 are almost invisible until they are on  :goodjob:

Trev, went to ALDI @ North Rocks was raining, was not too crowded got the compressor plus 15M compressor Hose with the pressure fittings each end. one Guy bought three compressors & lot of air tools. another lady filled up a large trolly with hi vis cloths. was still a few compressors left.

LOL Rick, it came with a what looks like good quality blower, & Tyre pressure inflation with gauge looked like a better one to & a full size Spray gun the compressor comes with two quick fit & release air hose fittings so can have two different hoses hooked up.
i got the cloths dryer wednesday & was bit of a rush for them, but noticed the store still had two left. so did not need to rush in early, but you never know like some things go fast.
we have a good air compressor here that we have had for 18 years but too big for my new place i'm moving too, this one will be prefect ( i hope LOL )

Hope this one lasts, as does not need oil, but it's convient as it stands upright, so less space needed. i don't like relying on service station compressors or there pressure gauges. was forced to do that with work vans. what a pain.
Also on how cheap they are now, i remember my mate in outback mining town, just keeping one of those little ones you used to plug into cig lighter. he really gave that one a hard time LOL the thing used to bounce around vibratings while it tryeds to pump up flat tyres on anlything he owned or his kids pushy's tyres that were puntured but he always tried that first . & to think how much they cost then when $ was worth heaps more.

Love the place.

Even the wife's computer is from there (they had a couple left and dropped the advertised price by $100....Happy days). If you don't like it take it

I will shop there before I go to Woolworths. They have annoyed me by deleting lines, not having things in stock that they should (how can someone who calls themselves the fresh food people run out of onions or carrots?) and their service has fallen (no we won't reduce staff when we introduce 'self service' checkouts...Honest).

You have to look after the competition, if Aldi (or the local green grocer and butcher) fail,  who will stand up to the big 2 and keep prices low.

  • A woman drove me to drink and I didn't even have the decency to thank her..
