Hi everyone,

Everything has been working fine until this morning with my 2013 i30.

Went out to the car and it was frozen (-3 ish according to phone), pressed the unlock on the fob and nothing happened. manually unlocked the door, still nothing. Came back a few minutes later with ice scrapper, manually unlocked the door. Alarm went off, started car and alarm went off.

Im currently unable to lock the car with either the remote or the manual door lock.

I replaced the remote fob battery with a new one, still nothing.

Any ideas?

Something similar, but only door locks playing up, happened to me 2 weeks or so ago at the previous cold snap.

Once the temp warmed up all working as expected.

Only presume iced up in the workings...

Has there been any change when temps warmed up?
