Hi all, new member here.
Recently acquired myself a used Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDi Blue drive Active 2014 plate. It is due a service, last one around 10k ago (knew this when purchasing) I will be doing this soon.
I've ran it for around 500 miles and all was fine. I'm being very specific here and it might sound strange but the symptoms I'm going to describe don't happen first thing in the morning (when driving to work for the first journey of the day). When I finish work and go to drive home the past 2-3 times it has started, which I can only describe as kangarooing in 1st gear, sometimes 2nd gear.
I've managed to get a video of it today, the symptoms seem to subside when I give it some welly and it manages to get to temperature.
Anyone had a similar problem and know what the cause could be?
I'm not massively mechanically minded so will likely be taking it to a friend who works in a local garage for any work but would be happy to attempt something myself if possible.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
