Something in the background doesn't like the text I'm trying to enter with these images so I'm trying it differently. These are off some very old brochures I was given some time ago.
Note some interesting things. "Australasia" includes three countries - Australia, broken down into it's component (mainland) States, New Zealand AND (drum roll) Tasmania.
I also notice that Canada is broken down into it's constituent Provinces except that Newfoundland shows in capitals, like a separate country. I'm guessing the Yanks weren't too big on geography even then (with apologies to our North American cousins. )

Fascinating stuff.

It just shows how advanced they were in tread patterns in those days - the complexity is mind boggling.
