Apparently no Tasmanias won.  So it is back to work for Dazz, Tazmaniac and myself.

But we have won the lottery of life by living in Tasmania!!!  (No cheap jibes from the Queenslanders, otherwise we will send up more Victorians)

I did the sums and you would get over a million in interest every year on the 27 million that they each won. I could live on that...

I heard that one of the winners in Victoria was a syndicate of 80 workers, they pocket a cool $350,000 each (or thereabouts).

I went to collect my $13 dividend today. There was a tall attractive lady in the line in front of me .. she spent nearly $40 on tickets for some future draws.

She then started pulling tickets out of her handbag for checking, probably about 8 in total . None were winners...

I was happy with my $4.80 spend.  :D

You'd have to put me in that group, somewhere between Dazz and Steve. I broke even.
Which means I didn't  spend any, didn't win any, didn't lose any. :whistler: :goodjob2:

 Must be your shout then .... (But are you ahead?)

Could you manage an Alanesque Spreadsheet showing your total spend for the year versus your winning amounts and the total loss as a %  :whistler:

YES!

Only been minor prizes but still enough to pay for the following weeks tickets with change.... :)

I still haven't checked Tuesday's tickets but I'll probably get this Saturday's tickets today so hopefully they'll tell me I have another prize waiting.... :p

Not being an expert on maths, or anything else for that matter, out of our 3K+ members is there anyone out there who would like to explain the relationship between the randomness of numbers and the statistical frequency patterns of numbers that do come up more frequently than others.

Before anyone else says it, I know that the selections are truly random, every time and that mathematical patterning can not influence the outcome, but is there any value at all in knowing which numbers have been drawn more often and the pattern of the number of draws between each number's selection.
