Post by: dani on January 15, 2009, 20:14:29
Do you think, this is possible for our cars?
Hyundai i30 == KIA C`eed in 95% :)

Already have it fitted (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y297/ShamblesX/GIFS/whistling.gif) and it works well. Came as part of the model specs. Don't know about aftermarket though

Yes it's part.
But have you notice that the front window is exactly the same. It's not worth to make other model of Windows. And all front windows have "heater" (the black down line).
And I'm wondering is this possible to turn on, without paying for this options :)
P.S.
This is s.th. like "hide hints" :)

When I had my windscreen replaced after it got cracked, I was asked by the fitters if it had the "heated area" as there must have been a difference, so I can't see that there is only 1 type of windscreen.

If that were true, then all i30 windscreens would have the built-in wiper deicer and rain sensors, which is not the case.
