 An ultra-rare Mini – and a favourite car of the Queen - has sold for a world record £110,000 at auction.

The special edition Mini Beach Car is believed to be one of only 15 in the world.

Built in 1962 without doors or side-pillars, it was dubbed 'The Riviera Buggy'. The British Motor Corporation only ever made 15 of them and loaned one of the cars to the Royal Family.
