I thought my tire pressure was a little low so I went to my Hyundai Dealer yesterday to add some nitrogen but as it turns out my pressure was fine and looks like my gauge is bad. Anyway while I was there waiting for my car I noticed couple of new Touring’s (i30 CW’s for everyone else in the world) sitting on the lot and one in the showroom so I went to take a closer look. First thing that got my attention was the fact every single one had roof rails on them and one of them was WHITE    And just FYI for all non US people white was not available on ’09 model and it was the color I would have pick if given the choice. So I guess we are getting new colors for 2010 and from the looks of it roof rails are standard on every Touring    .   .   .   .  and to be honest now that I saw one with roof rails up close I have to say I’m not a big fan.

And there is just one more thing I noticed on every singles one of them  :'( something I HATE seeing on any car (no offence to people who like it on theirs) and that is PIN STRIPES  .  .   .  yes every US spec i30CW comes now with pin F@#%$ stripes and I’m sorry but it looks horrible on this car.

But that’s just my opinion  8)

Hi AtomicFly!

Can you take some pictures of the new CW at your dealer and show us?

Good one Hemmi

Sorry for the delay it was wet rainy miserable day yesterday not good for taking any pictures.

First I want to say I was wrong about the roof rails looks like this is an option BUT pin stripes are on every single i30 on the lot.

I think I prefer the dodgy wood panels to the pin stripes. Very 1960s.

I like the strip.

It breaks up the plainness on the light colour and set it off.

Yes I must admit I kind of like the stripe, not as bad as I thought it would be. But it definitely wont attract younger buyers IMO.

I don’t know   when I look at the pictures it doesn’t look all that but up close in person that’s a whole another story guys.

And like I said before I don’t like the looks of it I don’t think I ever will and you’re right Hemmi this will not attract younger buyers this makes it look like their parents car.

Maybe they didn’t get the memo that the pin stripes went out of style 15 years ago.

I wonder if it's dealer fit, or maybe its under the clearcoat?
