Title: Changing of a breaking fluid and coolant
Post by: Ogi on October 09, 2012, 20:32:31
I have 1.4 petrol i30, previous generation.
It is 3,5 years old and in one month i need to go to a 4th regular service.
I have never changed breaking fluid and coolant so i am wondering should i do it now ?
How often do you change it ?
I can not rely on that warranty list becouse it is made for idiots.

Hi Ogi

Brake fluid is normal due for replacement every 2. year.

I'm, not sure, but I think Hyundai says coolant replacement every 4. year, but I have never changed coolant in any of my previous cars, unless some kind of repair was performed on the cooling system anyway.

I had my last car for 9 years/200.000 km, was a 2. hand car with 330.000 km /19 year, when rust killed the car.
