 Hi, all!
 I have i30, petrol, 1.6, automatic, 2008.
 Last time appears unpleasant problem: "ESP OFF" light on randomly. Exactly that same time engine starts work unstable, often it cut off while idling and after that starts rather hard.
 Vehicle starts hard, it looks like only 3 cylinders work.
 When "ESP OFF" lights off, more often, after restart, all described problems disappear and vehicle works perfectly.
 Was held diagnostics, was replaced brakes lights switch, but nothing changes.
 Any ideas?

Do you have an OBD reader to get the fault codes?

Welcome BLV, I would advise, back to the dealer. It is their problem to fix really, do you still have warranty, not sure of your location on earth.

I believe BLV is in Israel (maybe  )

Welcome, hope you have some warranty left (quite a strange fault).

The Intermittent ESP light is usually fixed by replacing the brake light switch (but the motor behaviour is the odd bit)

Hi,
 I have an i30cw 2.0L automatic 2010. (still under warranty)
I also had the same problem.  When I went to the dealership I met a 2012 car owner with the same problem.
The problem in both cars was fixed very quickly by updating the car computer.
