Hi all.

Just a quick post to announce the delivery of our new baby.

Weighing in at 1377 kg and measuring 4.245m in length, she's a beautiful bouncing bonny girl.

Have posted some piccies to photobucket (hope they work, it's my first attempt) ...

Thanks for the welcome guys.

There was never any doubt that silver would be the colour of choice.

She's the Director of Finance's new daily drive, and her first car was a silver '85 Holden Astra (re-badged Nissan Pulsar), which had to make way for a succession of family movers. She loved that Astra, and has had to wait 17 years to finally get something that can live up to the legend.

Lots of sacrifice and child raising in between and now it's time for some pampering  :D

As for a name .... the kids are pretty keen on Sexy Exi (a play on the plates). Personally, I like Sylvia (a play on the colour). Negotiations are continuing.

It's your choice.. but I like Sylvia (very clever.. and my dad used to own the first Nissan Sylvia ever imported into Australia about 30 years ago...)

You got it Sweetbix ... side protectors.

They fit neatly into that little groove towards the bottom of the doors and are designed to follow the contour of the groove nicely.

A small outlay for something that will hopefully help to reduce those tiny little annoying dents that you mysteriously seem to pick up in car parks

They kinda look like a racing stripe from a distance .... just gotta use your imagination a bit I guess
