Hi Hayseed, i really KNOW hoe you feel, one of my boys (each blaming the other) left a a seatbelt in the way of the door while closing it and hurt HIEIDI  (6days old)

... AAAARRRRHHHH, but they are little boys so Ive got them this to wreck instead     NOT my Heidi

Hey Hippo, you got your own thread now to shed some tears in

No-one will see that minor scratch. Get some touch-up paint and you'll soon forget it's there :D Then thrash those boys within an inch of their lives

Just a thought, you might want to blitz your VIN number which is on show in pic #1.

In your photobucket account, click "edit" (just above the pic) then select the "decorate" tab then select the "erase" function then you can clear some of the numbers or letters.

You never know who's watching these forums

I suppose the inertial reel is working properly, rewinding good and strong? If it wasn't and that was the reason the buckle was still there maybe Hyundai should check the belt mech and maybe repair the paint....

It has happened to me a couple of times so I sympathise, no damage done but the sound when the door slams with the belt in is agony :(
As Lorian suggested the belts don't always rewind automatically so be careful

Yep happened here too. What's EVEN WORSE is when the door doesn't shut and they try even harder to close it, with the buckle still trapped

OR what's EVEN WORSE is when the person that's trying to close the door stupidly asks.. "is it supposed to close like that?" And slams the door on the buckle again... stupid stupid stupid!!!!!!!!!
