Title: Woman shocked to find concrete-covered cat ‘absolutely solid’ on doorstep
Post by: eye30 on November 24, 2015, 16:04:17
An unfortunate moggy had a lucky escaped after being discovered on a doorstep covered from top to tail in solid concrete.

When Faye Richards saw the little ginger tom huddled outside her front door she didn't realise it was a cat at first - and thought it was a bundle of parcel tape.

It was only when she got closer that she realised the grey mess was actually a concrete-coated kitty - which was so slathered in the stuff, he couldn't even open his eyes.

you will not cement good relations here until you come up with some concrete facts.  The aggregate of opinions indicates that the pussy was totally f**ked and suffered a close shave.

*Groan* to the above comments - and now to add mine....  :D

One does have to wonder if the cat got itself firmly cemented in the situation or if it was helped.

It isn't unknown for domesticated animals to jump onto/into freshly poured concrete not knowing the danger - and I suspect a freshly coated cat, weather rescued or got out itself, is probably not going to stick around long enough for a wash.

However I wouldn't put it past someone doing that to an animal they perceive as an annoyance (for whatever reason).

In order to kerb speculation, reinforcement and screening of the facts are required here.

The evidence needs careful screeding.
